Welcome aboard the M V "Lady Mac"
Our vessel "Lady Mac" has just returned to service following an extensive equipment and machinery upgrade and interior refurbishment and fit out in 2025. You may recognise "Lady Mac" formally known as the "River Princess" from when she operated most recently in Port Macquarie, Sydney Harbour and the Hawkesbury River. Or you may even recall from her early days when she operated by the name "Nambucca Princess" when she was a single deck vessel.
“Lady Mac” has the capability of hosting up to 70 guests comfortably across two levels for lunch, sunset dinner cruises, private charters or boom net experiences in the summer school holidays. Our friendly staff cook and serve a delicious BBQ lunch or dinner, complete with fresh Australian tiger prawns, sirloin minute steaks, sausages and an array of fresh salad suiting any dietary preferences… oh did we mention finished off with a delightful dessert?
The main deck is where the fully licensed bar come servery, restrooms and BBQ are located. Venturing upstairs you will find the helm where our Skipper is located navigating the spectacular water ways of Lake Macquarie and pointing our notable facts and points of interest. The upper deck is partly covered and is perfect for kicking back and immersing yourself in the sights, sounds and smells or your experience.
Whether you know her or not the "Lady Mac" and her proud crew are ready to welcome you aboard and show you the spectacular waterways of Lake Macquarie… you just need to board at Booragul Wharf.
“Lady Mac” departs and returns from Booragul Public Wharf, Behind Lake Mac Art Gallery.
