M V “The Princess”

NOVA Cruises vessel, “The Princess", is a 28.5 metre aluminium monohull vessel. Constructed in Goolwa South Australia, the vessel was designed to operate in the shallow waters of the Southport Broadwater and Gold Coast canals. Purchased in 2011 giving Newcastle Harbour a European feel of comfort and luxury, whilst exploring the working waterways.

Offering extensive viewing windows for sight-seeing, she is ideally suited for the calm and winding waters of Newcastle Harbour, the Kooragang Wetlands and the Hunter, Williams and Patterson Rivers. The vessel has a main saloon which can seat up to 100 people for lunch or dinner or 150 guests celebrating a canape function. It features a forward facing captain's lounge, licensed bar, galley, restrooms and spiral staircase to the upper alfresco deck. Weekend cruises are complete with live solo performances and patrons are encouraged to relax and carve up the large dancefloor! Not only hosting public lunch, dinner and bingo cruises but is ideal for an intimate wedding or private function.

“The Princess” departs and returns from Honeysuckle, in front of the Honeysuckle Hotel.
